The short version: nothing is charged online when you book — your request is confirmed by email and payment is arranged with you directly. Cancel at least 48 hours before departure and it costs you nothing: just tell us and the slot is released. Inside 48 hours we ask you to still let us know. And if we cancel for weather, it costs you nothing.
Booking by request, one policy
Booking on this site sends a request by email — nothing is charged online. Paula confirms availability by email and arranges payment with you directly at confirmation. This policy is about what happens to your booking — and to any payment already arranged — if the tour doesn’t go ahead, whether the change comes from you or from us.
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before departure
Cancel 48 hours or more before your scheduled departure time and it’s completely free — email or WhatsApp us with your booking details, we confirm in writing and the slot is released, no questions and no fees. If anything has been prepaid by arrangement, we refund 100% of it.
Inside 48 hours: please still tell us
Slots are limited — a departure runs at most five buggies, and inside 48 hours the buggies, the guide and the slot are held for you and can rarely be resold. So if your plans change late, we ask you to still let us know as soon as you can. If anything has been prepaid by arrangement, cancellations inside 48 hours are refunded at 70%; we retain a 30% booking fee. The weather rule below is the only exception.
No-shows
If you don’t arrive for your departure, the slot is lost, and any prepayment isn’t refunded. Your confirmation asks you to be at the meeting point — the upper cable-car station on Mount Srđ — 15 minutes before departure; if you’re running late, call or WhatsApp us straight away. The guide can hold a departure briefly, but time lost comes off your ride, not added to the end.
Weather cancellations — our call, our cost
Light rain doesn’t stop a buggy tour — it’s half the fun. But if extreme weather or lightning makes the plateau unsafe, we cancel the departure — typically the evening before or the morning of. You then choose:
- free rebooking to any available date or time, or
- a full refund of anything you’ve prepaid — every cent, no fees.
When we make the safety call, it costs you nothing.
Changing a date or time
Moving your booking to another departure with at least 48 hours’ notice is free, subject to availability — message us and we’ll confirm the new slot in writing. Inside 48 hours we’ll still try to rearrange rather than cancel; talk to us.
How to cancel or change a booking
Message us on WhatsApp at +385 91 600 1201 or email [email protected] with:
- the name and email you booked with (they’re in your confirmation email), and
- the departure date and time.
We’ll confirm the cancellation or change in writing, and — where a refund of a prepayment is due — confirm it in writing so you can track it.
